New Book Sale Site OPEN
FOBPL Book Sale site has moved to 215 Washington Street; Brainerd
Donations are accepted on Tuesdays from 9am to 3pm with convenient drop-off parking only in front of the door.
Is your bookshelf overflowing with more books, CD's, movies, records, or audio books than you need? Do you have puzzles and games no one uses? Is your great grandmother contemplating a move to a retirement center and unable to take all her books with her? Consider donating these items to the FOBPL book sale. All profits from our book sales go to support the Brainerd Public Library. Rest assured your books, games, puzzles and other media items will find a new home and once again be used and appreciated.

•Fiction & non-fiction children’s & young adult books•Adult Fiction, including best sellers as well as classics in hardcover, softcover or paperback
•Adult Non-fiction books like:ohistory, biography, true crime, poetry, science, gardening and other hobbies o“coffee table” books, cookbooks, do-it-yourself books, books about MN, foreign-language books, books about animals/pets
•Foundational religious texts (Bible, Quran, Tanakh etc.)
•Puzzles, and board/card/skill games (please make sure lids are secure)
•Comic books and graphic novels
•Coloring books and journals•DVDs, audio CDs, vinyl records & audio books
All materials should be clean, in good sellable condition.
•NO STRONG ODORS/SMELLS•No water damage or stains
•No mold
•No torn or missing pages
•No broken spines
•Not heavily highlighted or notated
•No missing game or puzzle pieces
•No insects or rodent droppings.
Please recycle items we cannot accept in the convenience of your own home.
DONATIONS WE CANNOT ACCEPT
•No VHS tapes or audio cassettes
•No magazines, encyclopedias, religious tracts or Reader’s Digest Condensed Books
•No textbooks, computer books, reference books, self-help books (including business books), devotional literature: more than 5 years old
